Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

This is a draft. It's written to reasonably reflect what Configuro actually does today, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have it reviewed before relying on it with real customers and real payments.

1. Who this agreement is with

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Configuro (the "Service"), operated by Stackly Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent ("you", "your account", "your organisation").

2. What Configuro is

Configuro is a product configurator and quoting tool for manufacturers: you define configurable products, and your sales reps, dealers, or customers step through a guided wizard to select options, see live pricing, and generate a quote. Configuro is a tool you use to run your own sales process — we are not a party to the transactions between you and your customers, and we don't take a cut of anything you sell through the Service.

3. Accounts and plans

4. Your data and content

You own the product, pricing, and quote data you put into Configuro. We store it to provide the Service and don't use it to train AI models or sell it to third parties. If you use the AI-assisted product builder ("Luigi"), the content you submit (catalogue text, images, PDFs) is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a proposed product structure — see our Privacy Policy for the full list of subprocessors.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the product, pricing, and rule data you configure — Configuro calculates prices and validates rules based on what you enter, but it doesn't verify that your configuration matches what your business can actually manufacture or deliver.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Service availability

We aim to keep Configuro available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and we may suspend an account that violates these Terms or has a seriously overdue payment, after reasonable notice where practical.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for a material breach of these Terms. See our billing and retention policy for what happens to your data after cancellation.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll notify account admins by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Stackly Labs is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (Placeholder — confirm and fill in your actual jurisdiction here.)
