Questions
Yes. The import wizard reads your CSV or Excel file, shows you a preview and lets you map columns before anything is created — no reformatting required first. If you'd rather not map columns by hand, the AI-assisted builder ("Luigi") can turn a catalogue, spec sheet, or even a product webpage into a starting product structure for you to review and adjust. And if your spec sheet is messier than either of those handle well, we can help set it up ourselves — contact us.
No. Configuro is a flat-fee tool for running your own sales process — we're not a party to the transactions between you and your customers, and we never take a commission on anything quoted or sold through it.
When you use Configuro to collect information from your own customers, you're the Data Controller and we act as your Data Processor under GDPR. We name every subprocessor we use (database hosting, application hosting, payment processing, email delivery, AI features) in our Privacy Policy, and signed-in account users can read the full Data Processing Agreement, including breach-notification terms, at any time.
Your data is kept for a brief grace period in case you reactivate, then permanently deleted. You can also configure an auto-deletion period for your own end-customers' quote data at any time, independent of whether you ever cancel — a GDPR-oriented control available on every plan.
Yes — the dealer network add-on gives each external rep their own login, their own assigned price list, and a stripped-down view of just the configurators and quotes they need. They can't edit your products, pricing, or branding.
The Scale plan includes a public read-only API plus outbound webhooks (fired when a quote is created or an RFQ is priced) you can wire into your own systems. We don't ship pre-built ERP/CRM connectors yet — if you need one, tell us what you're running and we'll factor it into the roadmap.
